Public Notice of Proposed Changes to Public Housing Policy

CHA is proposing to replace its smoke-free floors policy with a CHA-wide smoke free building policy. The Admissions and Continued Occupancy Policy (ACOP) will need to be amended to include this policy, which has been crafted with substantial input from public housing residents.

A second change to the ACOP is proposed to give preference to residents who must relocate due to the Rental Assistance Demonstration Program.
